Bournemouth Match - back to 3-4-2-1 with Midfield Domination?

Anfield was the pit with no discipline and players out of position or out of sort.
Too many No. 10 attacking the box leaving a large vacuum in the middle with Back-3 exposed and always facing a 1-on-1 situation with their flair players in Mane and Salah having a field day.

Bournemouth is a team of battlers and Eddie Howe knew how to get a result against Top-7 teams when they are vulnerable like Arsenal now.

What team we need on the pitch?

I will say we need a ball winning midfield and build the team around Ozil's passing skills like France WC1998 building around Zidane with Midfield-3 in Deschamp-Petit-karambeau battling in the middle to allow Zidane to create plays and feed the attackers.

Ozil, Xhaka and Ramsey are No. 10 and it is dumb to field them in the same team with no ball winner in the middle. Restore Coquelin in the middle with instruction that his only task is to win balls, break up plays and sitting just in front of Back-3 and behind Ozil. Certainly not galloping into the box and trying to play like Zidane.

Xhaka's main task is the box-to-box midfielder but playing behind Ozil, playing deep behind Forward-4 in attacks where he can utilize his strength - accurate long passes and lobs into passing channels.

Giroud-Lacazette is essential, with one winning and holding the ball in the box, the other flashing as the fox-in-the-box.

Wingbacks and wing-forwards must work in tandem and one of them must have the Clichy Engine to run box-to-box at the flank all day long.

There is no organize in the Back-line and Mertesacker is out leader, certainly not Koscielny who was bewildered at Anfield and did not showed any fight.
The advantage of playing Mertesacker is that he is physical presence at both ends of the box; together with Giroud, we have height in defending corners and attacking set-pieces in opponent's box.

No more gungho attacking players but remained rigid like Dutch 3-4-3 with at least 3 players remaining at centre-line during counter-attacks. It was a shamble at Anfield when against a quick counter-attacking team with skillful and pacy runners, you leave only a lightweight Bellerin as the sole player at the centre circle. Where was Xhaka and Ramsey?

Alexis is nursing an ankle injury, just returned from Latin America and mentally, he is not in the right frame to start this game. let him sit it out and play in Europa Cup.

The primary priority is to get the DEFENCE right with goal-scoring taking care by itself with Ozil as the pivot and the team builds around his creative playmaking ability and Giroud's ball-holding and knock-downs in the box. A deadly Lacazette will certainly has more shots on targets if he was given 10+ chances to shoot.
