Gazidis: Liverpool Result Put A Negative Spin On Our Transfer Window

Arsenal Football Club really know no shame

Ivan Gazidis told Arsenal staff that the transfer window in which Arsenal added just two players, failed to strengthen key areas of the squad, and turned a profit of around £30m was a success.
He also said that had we won at Liverpool, people’s view of the club’s business during the summer would have been very different.

“Everything is coloured by results,” he said in an email sent to staff, and subsequently leaked to the press. “A positive performance at Liverpool would have coloured this transfer window very differently.

“The manager and players know that the performance at Anfield was not good enough and they will be focused to put that right after the international break.

“We have had a poor start to the season but have the quality to turn it around and turn around performances and compete for the title. It is time to get back to what it is all about, the football.”

Gazidis also spoke about the situations of star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, saying the fact that both remained at the club was, ” …a clear statement of our ambitions and should help refute suggestions we are just about the money. That is simply nonsense.

“At the end of the window, reviewing all activity, we have once again improved the quality and depth of our squad.”

Of course this ignores the fact we tried to sell Sanchez to Man City on deadline day to fund a bid for Thomas Lemar.

And while the it might have been meant as an inspirational internal message, it shows how far removed from the reality of things he is, and how different his view of the window and that Liverpool game is from fans and almost everyone else who watched what went on at Arsenal this summer.

Its the problem with having these slimy weasels know nothing about football in these positions at the club.

That other slithering c.unt Chips Keswick has apparently just come out saying he prefers racing to football.

And the least said about silent Stan the better.

The fact that these are the only people at the club who can make Wenger accountable for his incompetent management is laughable.

Albert Einstein once said: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

It's not just Wenger who needs removing.

We have idiots running the club above him who need clearing out as well.

Our future looks pretty bleak with these idiots in charge.

It is a free market.
Nobody asking you to watch Arsenal, buying Arsenal merchandises and paying through your nose to watch Arsenal "live".

E.g.
Watch how consumers boycotted Donald Trump's daughter fashion line till the merchandisers got to pull them least consumers boycotted all their products.

BSM?
Only less than 1,000 dare to protest loudly.

How many walk away from Emirates last season?
Less than 10,000?

Now, there are 40,000 season ticket-holders.
What if 30,000 of them refuse to turn up this weekend against Bournemouth?
Imagine this message sends to all advertisers, sponsors and to Emirates Airline.
Who want to associate with a loser?

And when both Tiny Totts and Chelski completed their stadium redevelopment and compete with Arsenal FC on the global market for fans against an unpopular Arsenal fans with droves of fans turning against the club?
Surely, Arsenal Holdings plc market value will drop with sponsors and advertisers turning to those winners?

There is a small window of opportunity (2017 to 2020) with Silent Stan at his most vulnerability now trying to work out a mortgage loan for his US$3-billion Ingelwood project with Arsenal FC as his most valuable and most profitable sport business in his stable.

If Arsenal fans should begin a massive boycott now to drive him out of Arsenal FC, imagine how nervous those bankers will be seeing their surety declining in values year-by-year?
Imagine all those bankers demanding a huge discount for Arsenal FC before loaning those money to Silent Stan?

That is the consumer power that Arsenal fans refuse to exercise - boycott.

If it hadn't been that result against Liverpool, Wenger was on the verge of winning the league next May. All Liverpool's goals were offside, the ref was bought, it was a new world order conspiracy, it was Donald Trump; and if we had converted our half chances we'd have won 5 - 0. Gazidis is spot on.
