Is no one going to update that we've signed a top class striker?

Hang on De Times, something doesn't quite add up here...

Lacazette is a terrible footballer, he's just a little above the level of Sanogo and Akpom, spending 50-60 million on him when we have Akpom and Sanogo is foolishness. So far, you haven't been able to come up with one good name that we could sign.

Thread.

Yes, I've been waiting a while for a chance to bring this one back out.

Bullsh*t merchant.

Well, the guy has proven all of us wrong in the last three seasons with his record in the French league. To be the best striker in a league that has Ibra, Falcao, Mbappe, Cavani, a very defensive league, must count for something right? And this is so when you look at the number of goals he scored right? Granted, there aren't many top strikers in the market, so while Lacazette might appear average when compared to the type of strikers we're used to at Arsenal, I mean strikers from a different era, but no one can argue he isn't world class at this time.

Arsene wenger has done an absolutely masterful job within the constraints he has... Every single year, he has outperformed our spending every single year he has been manager. It is extraordinary. -Gazides.

Nobody in the world EVER thought he was "just a little above the level of Sanogo and Akpom". Literally no one.

Giroud plays for France cause teams akways defend more and sit deep during International tournament. Lacazette isn't Henry but its a better footballer than giroud, but lacks the physicality so depending on what plan you go by, u pick one of the other. Which is why we should in circumstances let giroud go

Giroud is a great option off the bench. He'll be a super sub this season and get loads of goals in the last 20 minutes of matches. In most games where we struggle to score in the first 70 minutes we start playing it long and crossing it in the last 20 minutes so bringing giroud on will be ideal.

Weak DeTimes, very weak.

If Lacazette has been 'proving us all wrong for the last 3 seasons', then why oh why just one year ago would you state he is a terrible footballer, a foolish signing because he is only on par with Sanogo?

He had scored 48 league goals in just 67 games 'in a defensive league' in the last two seasons when you made that comment.

Could it possibly be trying to justify why Wenger had yet again done a c.rap job (or not done his job at all you could argue) in not signing us another desperately needed striker in the like of Lacazette?

Then just a season later seemingly forgetting your own previous dribble, you are proclaiming that Wenger has pulled off some sort of master stroke by signing said striker who you labelled as terrible and nothing short of a foolish signing due to him only being the level of Sanogo?

Do enlighten us, DeTimes. It would break my f.ucking heart to think you have been royally caught out chatting nonsense again.
