Next month, Australian Darren Burgess will be joining us from Aussie Rules side Port Adelaide as our new "Head of High Performance". He was previously at Liverpool as "Head of Fitness & Performance".

Independent.

No more injuries!

Following on from this, we're bringing in Huss Fahmy, a top legal expert for Team Sky, to handle player contracts.

Telegraph.

No more contract sagas!

The future is bright.

Two years ago he brought in world beating German NT for high performance n fitness that helped him journey to 5th place so the new recruitments are preparatory works for 10th place, I guess!!

To be fair, arsenal is one of the fittest teams in the league.

It's the recovery from injury that seems a problem

A shadow of what we were

When on the front room they can manage to sign only a kalashnikov for free then they need some back room drama to show something is going on! lol

As long as Wenger does not get rid of Bould and Primovac, nothing changes.

Nothing will change unless everything changes. We need wenger gone. Most likely the new guy that comes in will bring his own crew which is typically how it goes

Yeah Bouldie stop making Uncle Arsene get it all wrong.

You want Bould as the next manager?

Bould is not strong enough to tell Wenger off and he just toes the line offering nothing.

Get a better assistant manager that can step in 2018/19 if Wenger should keep his promise to leave when he can't carry the team further.

I haven't said anything about Bould being manager, but if you think that Wenger might take on an assistant who would question him and tell him off then quite frankly you haven't been paying attention for the past 20 years.

What you are saying is true, but a new smart assistant with good sales skills might change Arsene positively.
It is a low probability that Arsene would take on new ideas but a low probability is better than 0 probability of him changing with Bould.

Big Jens Lehmann has joined as a first team coach and started today.

Nice to have a winning mentality on the coaching staff. Just hope he doesn't go the way of Bouldy and become a yes man.

Ex-Reading goalkeeper coach Salvatore "Sal" Bibbo has also joined the coaching team.

* Apparently he isn't a new addition and has actually been here 18+ months, having initially joined as temporary cover for somebody who was injured. No statement was ever made.

Hmmmm. Lots of potential there.

I have no idea of his tactical ability to teach or coach, but he has gotten good shouts for his motivational and communication skills off the pitch.

Yeah, he's a leader, a big character and a positive influence. Apparently he has a big hand in helping integrate new/ younger players into the squad.

I think this is a great move, personally. Per is a top, top bloke.

Very professional guy and also has a winning mentality. I the sense he will not take things lying down. Arteta was a loss, I'm glad we are keeping Per.

So that's a new fitness bloke, a new contracts bloke, a former Invincible on the coaching team and a new goalie coach, plus a new Academy Manager starting next season.

But still the same manager, who still has absolute power and control.

It will be the same old, same old season again despite the (small) changes.

Yeah don't worry I wasn't suggesting otherwise, just summarising the changes.
