Fixtures Arsenal.com

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

And what a salivating list it is, if we cant attract top players with fixture like Leicester and Stoke then the modern game is not worth bothering with.

Can someone explain to me why the fixture list matters, because everyone is playing the exact same teams so why does it matter when we play them.

If we play the top teams all in around the similar timeline, we run the risk of losing a few games on the trot nearby derailing our season again like the last few seasons. For this upcoming season, the tough months imo are:

- Aug where play Chel$ki and Liverpool besides Leicester and Stoke.
- Nov where we have Citeh and Spuds besides Burnley and 2 Europa games.
- Feb where we play Everton, Spuds and Citeh besides 2 Europa and 1 FA cup game.

Based on recent history, the winter months is where we tend to f.uck up our league challenge and looking at the Feb fixtures, we might see a repeat - unless Wenger truly strengthen the team. So it does matter how our fixtures line up and even more so for Arsenal because Wenger is poor in player rotation, likes a small squad of top talent and the high probability of injuries to our players.

We need two teams.
Team A for League games.
Team B for Cup games.

I see Wenger as preferring to promote youths into Team B plus giving our large squad of Reserves many games in Europa Cup.

Albert Einstein once said: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
