“A catalyst for change” said Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis

No new manager
No change in the structure
No change in the backroom staff
No changes at board level
Our best players with one year left on their contracts

Nothing changes, not at Arsenal

Gazidis is lawyer so he chose his words carefully.

He said “A catalyst for change”, not actual change.

Just more bullsh'it PR / propoganda from the club as usual.

Thank you all. I took a sabbatical because we were talking about the same thing every day, I fear we will for another two years.

15-20 years ago Wenger would've had all these wonderful French players signed up. .He hasn't got the pull and the encyclopaedic knowledge of players he once had. It could be a loooong summer.

On a brighter note, the FA Cup Final was wonderful, wasn't it? Credit where it's due, that was an amazing performance. We should've won 5:1.

I don't think Wenger has got worse at finding talented players, times have changed and everyone else has caught up.

15 years ago it was difficult to watch players in other leagues, so anyone who put in the effort of actually scouting in France was rewarded with excellent players for bargain prices.

Now, anyone with access to youtube can watch hours of footage on practically any player in the top leagues.

There are now more competition for the same pool of talent. And these competitors are prepared to pay.

Flava was gone for the same amount of time it takes to recover from a ruptured anus.
