This 9-year-old was released by Arsenal FC ...

If Arsene Wenger is totally in control of all football operations with the Board bending over for him, then Wenger is responsible for overlooking Harry Kane.

Leicester City players went on holiday and was punished by Tiny Totts 6-1 win.
Harry Kane scored 4 goals and his 4th hat-trick.

Golden Boots:
26 - Harry Kane
24 - Lukaku
23 - Alexis
20 - Costa

Worse, when Eriksen was available, Wenger put his trust in Jack Wilshere.
During a Under-23 European Championship, Eriksen comprehensively out-class Wilshere and yet Wenger still put his trust in Wilshere.

Therefore, whenever Wenger bragged that he "älmost" buy Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Suarez, Pique, Mascherano, Zidane, Cech (which he did now), Costa, et al, you knew he is a hypocrite and an arrogant @#$%& when he overlooked talents like Harry Kane and Eriksen when they were youngsters.

It proved again that Arsene Wenger got lucky with the French Spine simply due to his intimate knowledge of 1990s Golden Era of French Football and nothing else. 12 years of failures in youth development and scouting proved it.

He was 9!!

I scored over 40 goals in a season for Derby Boys aged 9. And I can tell you it means absolutely nothing.

I seem to recall Wenger himself saying he wanted to find out who authorised Kane's release. I know Wenger is a control freak dictator but I can't imagine his reach stretches to under 10s

True, but not in Harry Kane's case

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Nobody knows how a nine year old kid will turn out. Anyway, when you are nine, you don't really have a solid contract, now do you?

Definitely true in his case. He was let go, after all.
