The real question

Will DeTimes be able to resist crawling from under his rock where he has been hiding more and more through the continued decline of Wenger, to brag about how Wenger has 'pulled off the transfer of the century in Aubameyang', or will he not have the nerve following that latest shower of s.hite tactically inept performance against Swansea last night as we labour to a sixth place finish (at best) ?

The greatest manager in the league is closer on points to the bottom club than to the top club

Don't worry, we're in great place. If Chelsea and Liverpool win their games in hand, we will only be 8 points behind 5th and 9 off the prestigious 4th place trophy.

It is better to be out of Europe for a few seasons. This will hurt Silent Stan's pocket and it will force him to examine what is wrong on the field. If we get into CL, it meets with Silent Stan's financial objective for the club and he will continue to let Wenger has his way. It will also allow Silent Stan's proxy Gazidis more power to implement the changes that are needed for a club the size of Arsenal instead of allowing all player power to reside in the hands of 1 person. So being out of CL is not such a bad thing if u look into the longer term health of Arsenal.

Our players were hardly expending energy in this game inspite of it being NLD.
We will be behind by double digits from 4th place by Feb end and will conc on europa.

Wenger doesn't say it but wants to win it as he hasn't done anything in europe. It won't be easy as you will face a lot of good teams quarter final onwards
