Match against Chelski - time to separate chaff from the wheat

Arsenal rickety and creaking defence is overdue for a whupping, and Chelski will do it.

A master tactician like Conte would had learned his lesson playing against Arsenal and observed how Saints, WHU, WBA, Palace and even Newcastle press us and winning midfield battles and creating goal-scoring chances.

Conte should spot immediately that Cech is declining, slow to react, slow in getting down, instructed to be the 12th man, the sweeper behind back-4 and he only survives as a top-notch goalie due to commanding presence in the box and his superb positional awareness only.
Again, our defence is vulnerable against hanging balls and high crosses into the box.

Chelski is deadly in dead ball situation with excellent headers in Morata and Cahill.
Superb shooting outside the box with Pedro, Willian and virtually every member of the team that can shoot accurate outside the box.
And of coruse, the mercurial hazard that literally walk the ball into goal and fabregas launching those accurate through balls and lobs into the box.

Let's face it.
Koscielny is declining alarmingly, Mustafi and Chambers struggling to develop understanding, and Kolasinac trying to defence. And what a useless Belerin that can't defence and can't pass and cross.

MIDFIELD?
An improving Kante-Babayoko should dominate Xhaka-Wilshere in the middle, with a tigerish Kante snapping away and Xhaka as usual, losing balls in dangerous position.

Conte should get it right and attack our flanks with his wing-forwards in Pedro/Willian and Hazard, plus his wing-backs driving forward and overpower Bellerin and Kolasinac.
With Hazard in a free role and Fabregas delivering lobs and passes into the box as he can, plenty of clear goal-scoring chances will be created.

Our FORWARD Line?
C'mon, Lacazette will be isolated, a disinterested Alexis will be rubbed off the ball and a disgusted Ozil will be crowded off the ball ... "stop Ozil and you stop Arsenal from playing".

All the stars are aligned with Chelski with the current Arsenal team in disarray, divided by a "desperate to leave" Alexis and a make-shift defence that is showing its age and declining rapidly since November 2017.

"The idea is to be more unpredictable every year and be more difficult for the opponents to stop and nullify what we want to do. That’s what we have now, especially at the back and in the midfield the options we have, to open up the spaces, we have many more options than we had last year.” Mikel Arteta

Kolasinac suffered a knee injury against WBA.
Ozil may not be fit to play Chelski.
Monreal is still out.
Will Wenger field Chambers or Mertesacker?

..............................Cech

......Mustafi ......Mertesacker ... Koscielny

...Bellerin.....Xhaka........Wilshere... Maitland-Niles

...........Welbeck......................Alexis

..........................Lacazette

I prefer Welbeck at RW.
he is quicker than Iwobi, always running directly at defence and instantly presses the opponent once he loses the ball.
whereas Iwobi just stands still in shock after losing the ball.
Iwobi has no presence, can't pass, just dribbling away and invariably loses the ball ... just eye candy and a pathetic pale shadow of OX.

I'll be surprised if we don't concede at least 3 goals, which seems to be the minimum price to pay vs. the Top 6 these days (Spurs excepted, of course.)

Pity about your foresight.
Perfect 20:20 hindsight then.
