What about del piero on a 1yr deal...

Alessandro del piero is a world class player and he is free..thou his 37 del piero still played an important part as captain for the unbeaten juventus side and produced few magical moments to show the quality is still there..

He may not be a typical arsene wenger signing bt with his status and experience giving him a 1yr deal to cover for the main strikers could be a good deal esp del piero have winning mentality that hopefully can rub off the other arsenal players..

Our attackers need speed and pace.
Midfielders passing and tackling at least.

Where does he fit in?

The only reason most of these oldsters are moving to places like Al Saad, the MLS, etc. is because those leagues desperate enough to pay their wages still.

Henry was on 70k a week when he was with us, which is fine for Henry because he was scoring like a champ and well... he's Henry.

But I wouldn't go dishing out those salaries for a full season so our players can have a wet nurse.

He'll go to the middle east or states.

What....are you guys serious Del peiro....He can't even make the Juventus team anymore...and SeriA is the slowest league of all the leagues....How will he adapt to the most physical and quickest league? .......He is 37, not 22.

I don't want Del Piero either but Juventus just went the season unbeaten in the league.

Ivan Gazidis called ...he said Stan Kroenke and peter Hill-Wood would like to discuss a job opportunity for you with Arsenal F.C.

The only other guy interviewing is some bloke named Lewis....
