Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team news ahead of Sunday's trip to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

on Theo Walcott…
He will have a test [on his hamstring]. I don’t know yet if he will be included in the squad or not. It is possible.

on other team news for Sunday…
We have little doubts about Park, Squillaci and Santos but they should all be ready.

on Bacary Sagna…
He will have surgery tonight. It is a straight broken fibula. We expect him to be out for a few months but let's see how surgery goes tonight.

Off West Brom site.

CHRIS Brunt has been ruled out of Sunday's final game with Arsenal (ko 3pm) after this week undergoing surgery to have his tonsils removed.

The Baggies skipper's second goal of the season launched a spirited fightback to earn a 2-2 draw at Bolton last Sunday.

But his campaign is over after battling with tonsillitis during the past six weeks.

And he is now recovering ahead of a possible call-up to Team GB's Olympics football squad.

"Chris Brunt has had his tonsils out so he will be missing for the weekend," said assistant head coach Keith Downing.

"He has been stop-start with them, and we know he might be considered for the GB team, so the decision was taken to do it now.

"That will give the opportunity for someone else to play on Sunday."

The Baggies are hopeful Peter Odemwingie will be available for selection against the Gunners after missing the Reebok Stadium trip due to a hamstring injury.

Jerome Thomas, who also missed the stalemate with the Trotters due to flu, remains a doubt to face his former club.

Downing added: "Peter Odemwingie is still doing rehab to try to get back before the weekend, so we're hopeful with him.

"Jerome is ill at the moment so we will take a view on that tomorrow.

"He's been out for the last couple of days.

"He had a virus prior to the Bolton game and hasn't trained since."

Roy Hodgson's No.2 is also relishing the opportunity to give the departing Baggies boss a good send-off in front of a sell-out home crowd.

"It will be a good occasion for everybody, but particularly for Roy," he said.

"Hopefully everybody will turn out in their droves.

"We want to finish on a good note and positively.

"We've had four games now without defeat and we want to continue that run."

Hear that? Squillaci and Park will be ready for Sunday.

Now I'm confident.

wenger is a devilish sort - I'm sure that he is saying that just to mess with those two players.

as much of a fool as wenger can be, he will never play them in any meaningful way.

Get your point, Jack I mean without Squillaci we might have been relegated. Of course with him we certainly would have been.
