football back tomorrow

i cant shake the feeling that the momentum that we have gained through our last couple of matches would have been halted a bit as a result of the long break

i hope the guys are still as focused and will be able to pull off an essential win at everton

thoughts?

Chelsea seem to be gathering some steam too. Will be an interesting run in to the close.
I think confidence will still be quite high despite the break but concentration levels may have dropped.

Good preparation and rest time. We should be flying tomorrow.

Whatever happens, it's been too long since I've had my fix!

It's up to the manager to address that concern, isn't it?

So let's not discuss it then tiger, my bad

You misread me, Jack.

I completely agree that it is a valid concern.
we have shown a real capacity for a drop in focus at the worst times in the past (and the trip to milan was not too long ago).

I don't have much faith in wenger, TBH.
But, I do expect to see more of that warrior spirit from guys like sagna, ches, TV, rosicky, and RVP. I hope to see it flowing through the side.

arteta will be up for it, you can be sure. the first time he bumps into felaini should be intense.

I always think that the best way to get going after a lull is to commit to a full on attack early in the match. put them on the back foot right away - especially on the road.

Ok, sir ... now, YOUR thoughts?

you should have complete faith in wenger, he is a manager of "super quality"
i think he has earned confidence this season especially(saying that, he will probably start ramsey instead of rosicky)

i expect confidence to be high, but i also am worried a that that the long break could have introduced a bit of complacency into the ranks

and these things are not easy to distinguish during trainning, they will be doing tricks and flicks and smilling and joking during trainning, which is what you would expect from a confident side. however it become apparent whether it is over confidence on match day

just a tad worried is all

I prefer to hope that the break was much needed. All legs will be 100% and raring to go.

But like you said, it does worry me a bit.

Looks like our captain heard your concerns and is egging the lads on jack.

Is it me just trying to be optimistic or is his speech hinting at a stay? The needing to carry on this kind of form for a year stands out.

I would hope that recent results and performances will have the guys in the right frame of mind, its important we finish well.

I'd take a draw to be honest. I never like Everton away even tho we've got a decent record there, probably better than most teams.

Anyways tomorrow is a massive gameweek, could be 6pts ahead of Chelsea and a point or two ahead of Tottenham. That's the best scenario.
