Anyone else some what nervous about how Jack's game will be when he finally returns? I'm thinking in terms of follow on injuries and that he has lost a whole season in a crucial time of his development. Lord knows Ramsey was looking promising but has looked utter s.hite since his return from a serious injury.

I understand you don't lose your ability over night, but it's just a worry I think. The plus side is he has age on his side and is definitely not going to the Olympics now.

I think Ramsey's and Wilshere's injuries are two different type but I still think playing in Olympics would have been a golden opportunity to come back to competitive football, definitely it's not expected him to be selected or play in such important tournament as Euro where as Olympics is much lighter version of 7 matches tournament to play till final, lots of younger good players will take the opportunity to grow from countries like Spain, Brasil, Senegal, Mexico, Uruguay etc.

I can understand him/Arsenal rejecting the Olympics. Hopefully means he'll return fresh for next season.

I'd like the Ox to go mind as I doubt he'll make the euro squad. The Olympics was big for Messi's career.

Am more worried Wenger will push him in to the #10 role. Hopefully Wenger buys some midfielders; we can't expect him to be our saviour.

not worried about wilshere....his strength is his quick mind/vision. You dont lose your vision. You lose pace and strength, but not vision

Ramsey was shite before the injury

Before his injury Ramsey was looking a very good player. He was scoring goals, releasing the ball early, setting up goals, breaking up play. Anyone who thinks his injury hasn't effected him are wrong.

its got nothing to do with his injury its all about his confidence

ramsey isnt playing badly becasue of his injury, he wasnt playing badly at the start of the season, he wasnt playing badly alonside jack at the end of last season

a lot has been lumped on his shoulders that he wasnt ready for is all, so doubts have started to set in

I think Jack will be ok provided he can maintain fitness. I think he could well have setbacks again and fairly regularly.

Ramsey is better now than before the injury.

Wilshere will come back at the same level. Just a shame he missed a years development.

You can't really believe that. Ramsey has been shocking since he came back. He looks even slower as well which i thought was impossible.

You can make anyone look brilliant on youtube. Half those clips show Ramsey doing well to move past a player and then it cuts away. You don't see him then spend half an hour wondering what to do with the ball before giving it away after about twenty touches.

Ramsey has quality don't get me wrong, but only given time and space. He needs players alongside him to do that; To create the room for him to operate.

Right now though his confidence is gone he needs a break from the team.

Yes.i still think ramsey isnt half the player he was before the injury

if you watched ramsey b4 injury ude describe him as fearless, decisive, instinctive and incisive, mixed with his skill and flair he was some player

after injury his mind doesnt work the same so now he thinks too much,
should i get between those 2 defenders? shoot? pass? shoot? pass? oh theres a 50-50 should i get involved?

before injury he was hitting volleys with either foot 1st time, always arriving at the exact moment to hit it 1st time, even the way he runs at players 1 on 1,

but then again ppl here claim tomas was always@#$%&or eduardo aswell, i hope to god jack hits the ground running next year for his sake

Ramsey was terrible most of the time pre-injury, especially the game where he was injured in. Also, anyone remember a worse performance than the one he put in away at Wolves or Cardiff? Made me cringe.

Whatever. He is better suited at defensive midfield anyway, and he was still awful.

It's why a retired Scholes is better than the midfielders that are fit at Man utd at the moment. Wilshere has a football brain, Ramsey's good on the ball but clueless.

Ramsey got injured Replacing Denilson for the first time, don't know how well the defensive side of his game is yet. Just seems like Lampard plays for us without the throughballs that is.

Dare say Gary Speeds death (RIP) hasn't helped.

dare I say it the very ill advised decision to make Ramsey the captain of wales had an aggravating effect to Garry Speed's (R.I.P.) already hyper-stresed life status.

No offense

Wenger's big error was to move from building (or receiving) teams that combined physical strength and aggression with flair, to teams that tried to be Barcelona. Full of young, short, nimble but brittle little players. Luckily it looks like this has changed with mature guys like mert, arteta and podolski in.

In the transfer market, he gets a lot of stuff wrong and tends to give players too much time to prove themselves when they're fundamentally shite (Denilson) but he also gets it spectacularly right most of the time. He continues to be one of the best in the world, probably ever, at spotting potential and developing it into class. Now sometimes he waits too long, but not usually. Look at Kos, Ox, Ryo etc. no other big club manager in the country can do that.

The club's problem is not being able to compete with any comparable clubs in the transfer market. But if we didn't have Wenger we'd be in a much worse position. The likes of Mancini, mourinho etc can't do what they do on budgets.

I wouldn't question his commitment either (unlike the board). Yeah he's stubborn but he lives and breathes Arsenal. And it's pretty silly to say the current side lack motivation.

Garry Speed was a top player, who wouldn't have looked out of place in our Midfield next to Vieira

The End.
