Well it looks to the uneducated that he has watched us lose and then gone out to speak to barcelona in a clandestine hotel. Ala Hleb (who was slated for doing similar)

Nah, nothing clandestine about that visit.
he's wearing his arsenal gear. no doubt about who he is.
not hiding who he is.
coming and going through a main door - well lit.

If RvP had a legitimate reason for going to that hotel even if it was to see anyone connected to Barce, he shouldnt give a toss what it looks like. But it looks like he did, because he wore full arsenal gear probably in anticipation of mugs trying to make a bigger story out of it than they should.

just wait until Durham gets a hold of this story. He's already talking nonsense about Wilshere's injury

Barca couldn't afford him.

And they don't have a squad full of dutch players to run a "we just want to bring the poor little guy back home" media campaign.

Regardless of this "visit" Barca probably are the only team that would tempt him away from us.However in reality you could say that for almost every player right now!

As if they would want him. No offence, I think he is right up there with the best point men in football (alongside Benzema, Cavanni etc.) but Barca don't use players that one-dimensional.

He would be shown up if he went there.
