With a run of games this guy is useful player. Not a world beater but will get you goals.

It's a shame he does not want to come back

why would he want to come back when chamakh was picked ahead of him and when he did get a game it was as a winger

*Signing Ozil is a signing Bergkamp type moment for Arsenal. It changes things utterly.*

I bet SAF says the same thing about David Bellion every time David Bellion scores a goal for whichever club he's playing for now

bendtner is a good player but i doubt he will get the kind of service he gets from larrson and mclean and sessegnon at arsenal

Well he wouldn't be willing to be 2nd choice and isn't good enough to be 1st.

exactly, it seems people think he was forced out of here. he wanted to be a starter. So if people dont want him as a starter, they need to shut up and not mention his name again

Re: Bendter 's scored...AGAIN
Gunners R Us 31 March, 2012 20:21
He would have been a better back up than chamakh and park.

He wants to and probably needs to be a starter, but I think with the correct use of rotation wenger could have gotten the best out of him, hence why I said It's a shame he wants to leave

It's not hard to be better than chamakh and park. He wouldn't have seen much game time.

Btw, was todays goal one where he rolled Kompany, twisted between Yaya and Kolarov and tucked it away nicely. Or a scuffed effort that wouldn't have gone in had he not miskicked it? I won't be watching MOTD tonight so someone will have to tell me.

Cross into the box from open play, The Best Striker in the World heads in from 8 yards out.

Was well taken but wont make any highlight reels.

i think its great he is scoring, it will mean that sunderland will try and keep him

Flava 31 March, 2012 22:40
and an assist for the 3rd goal. Clubs will want him if he's scoring.

Shearer just said Nik was brilliant today.

Well Marouane can do that too...

I've always had abit of a soft spot for him, he's scored some cracking goals for us and while our perception of him will never match the perception he has of himself, he's still quite a decent player.

But yeah as 80s said, not good enough to displace Van Persie or lead the line for Arsenal and he wants regular playing time so only one alternative.

Re: Bendter 's scored...AGAIN
eduardo 31 March, 2012 23:56
the alternative we have is having chamakh on the bench who wenger clearly don't want to bring on, and when he does he makes so little impact it was not worth bringing him on in the first place, we sent the wrong guy out on loan, nik may be no world beater but he is a decent FAPL striker, not his fault that anytime last season he got used it was as a winger

Won't be shedding any tears if he doesn't return. Never liked him an ounce. Not on the pitch, not when he spoke.

He's RVPs replacement (Sm159)

Say what you will about the guy but he's miles ahead of Chamakh. Not that that's saying a whole lot.

Ahh he could do a job for us, he's a decent squad player. But thats not what he is after and thats fair enough, cant hold that against him.

Re: Bendter 's scored...AGAIN
eduardo 02 April, 2012 00:14
find it funny when anyone complains that a player wants to be more than a squad man, what I would like to know from those that complain about this is - do you really want guys in our squad who are happy to be second choice, guys who don't aim to be a starter

Hopefully Sunderland takes him off Arsenal's books at good market value.

we want people work hard for the team, are professional and try to perform on the training pitch and games to prove they are good enough, rather than a deluded dane who keep crying to the media about how he should be a starter.
Bendtner is not good enough to be a starter and not humble enough to be a squad player

bentdr and arshavin were always picked ahead of chamakh when he was fit. Which let us down last year. It would have been nice and we may have won premier league if arshavin and bendtmer had stayed injured for total last season.

He is arrogant and 'thinks that' he is better than messi ronaldo and rvp.
We dont need such more than worldclass players in our team.

O'Neill: Big head Bendtner is playing himself back into contention at Arsenal

Published 22:30 02/04/12 By Simon Bird

Nicklas Bendtner wants to discover if he has a future at Arsenal.

Martin O'Neill reckons Bendtner's goal scoring run - he has netted four goals in seven games in March - means he will believe he can return to the Emirates after his loan spell on Wearside ends.

The Danish star has finally settled into Sunderland's way of playing and is thriving alongside Stephane Sessegnon, culminating in an excellent show against Manchester City at the weekend.

But O'Neill is not pinning his hopes on keeping Bendtner. He said: "I've not thought about his future at all. I've not mentioned it to him, there's no point in putting pressure on anyone at the moment.

"Bendtner played as a real proper centre-forward. He was holding the ball, bringing people into play - and he scored he goal. On a performance like that his self-vaunted opinion of himself is maybe justified."
