I know football is all about opinions and if you are an ex footballer, you already know alot about football. But we tax payers pay their wages and surely we can find someone who knows more about football than Bright?

1 Liverpool 2 Man Utd 3 Man City 4 Arsenal
"Liverpool finished 22 points behind United last season but only Sir Alex Ferguson amassed more points than Kenny Dalglish since the 'king' took over from Roy Hodgson.
"Why will they win it? The Reds have four players who could grace any team in the Premier League: Pepe Reina, Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll, then add to the mix promising youngsters like John Flanagan, new faces like Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing plus team spirit, desire and 21 years of hurt."

There's opinions and there's being absolutely clueless

Andy Carroll. World at his feet. Would walk into any team. Only thing i remember of Mark Bright was that he partnered Ian Wright at crystal palace.

He was in the Sheffield Wednesday side that we turned over in both the League and FA cup finals in 1993.

22 years of hurt now.

Lets call a spade a spade, if Liverpool couldn't win the league with Torres, Gerrard in his prime, Alonso and Mascherano then what the f*ck makes Bright think they could win it with Carroll, Suarez, an aging yet effective Gerrard, Downing and Adam?

Talk about regressing, that's an unbeliveable backwards step in just a few seasons.

You can argue predictions are hard, but how he felt in august carroll could grace any PL team is beyond joke. That alone should be sackable offence

Seriously £35M for Andy Carrol HAS to be the worst signing of all-time and to think Newcastle said NO to £30m (Sm22). Well played Fat Ashley(Sm53)
