i highly doubt wenger would allow any of his players to gain a couple of lbs
he probably is as strict as the FIA when it comes to players weight...probably checks it before and after games and training session

fab has never been very lean IMO..doesnt have a six pack and doesnt need it too to be honest.. surely its the beard.. or maybe he's got thyroid..just deosnt know it yet..

Looking at the wrinkles under his chin tells you of the excess baggage on his face.
But on the positive is: with the brains he has, he needs a bigger head, and a upper head cannot be bigger than the lower one, so, that makes the face fat. And for the beard, its for disguising the fatness. Me thinks.

He's clearly not getting fat what a load of shite, no doubt he will have shaved next game and suddenly he will be looking like he's "lost loads of weight".
I think the same happened with Rooney when he tried to grow a beard, it just makes you look plump sometimes.

Double chins as they call has more to do with skin elasticity than fat. a lot of thin people have 'double chins'

Fabregas is definitely getting fat I saw him trying to catch his breath at one point and when we were defending a corner in the second half he was trying to get a Mr Kiplings chocolate slice out his pocket when nobody was looking.

Well, I have managed to enter Arsenal.com, and actually realized Cesc reads this website, he has finally explained why he has a beard and mostly why he is looking fat.
