Fulham FC

Watching the highlights again I think its worth a thread of its own and if any of their fans are reading this then I would welcome them to contribute.

Fulham beating Juventus 4-1 is a fantastic achievement for the club, irrespective of the dodgy sending off of Canavaro, and the fact that Juventus are clearly a very sick animal and a lot of their players would never have got into earlier versions of the 'bianconegri' line up.

At the end of the day Juve are a giant of European football and we all remember how chuffed we were when we beat them in 2006.

What I like about Fulham is that they are a small side who play football on the ground they have always done it, they seek out decent ball playing attacking players like Gera, Duff, Murphy, Dempsey and so on. I hope this stands as an example to all the sh*tty little northern teams who spend their money on two bit c*nts like Boateng who stuck his fingers in Bendtners eyes last week. And when these sh*thouses play better sides, they spend their whole time trying to get throw ins and 'competing' ie kicking lumps out of the better side, and making every game a 0-0 or 1-0 defeat. Fulham dont do that, and can you see Hull or Stoke, or Bolton, smashing Juventus 4-1? No, I don't think you can. Remember Bolton in Marseille a few years back, when they were too scared to come out of their half.

So respect to Fulham I hope they get a great draw in the next round and let this be a lesson to people that if you play actual football then people will follow you, and respect your achievements, hopefully more fans will go to their games, and bl**dy good luck to them. thats all.

Although I wish they would bring their goals a bit further forward of the stands, it reminds me of Southampton and QPR in the 1980s, where you cant' see the ball go in.

have liked Fulham since I became friends with a fulham fan on my first day at secondary school, then Supermac Malcolm McDonald became their manager and almost got them into the top flight, now they do as you say Celine play football the right way,
Juve are not the same as they were in 2006, relegation for match fixing changed that club big time and they have not even nearly come back to near what they were, and having canavaro sent off and playing with third choice goalie did not help them either

Roy Hodgson and Al Fayed have worked wonders, I saw Fulham play Torquay in the old division Three in 95, Was a free juvenile ticket from our football coach at our club, was a@#$%&game, now they are thumping the old lady, nice One, if Fulham are better than Juve then we are better than Barca sorry I have to say it.

You can congratulate the owner of Cult Zero Ts, he went to the away leg

And for all those teams who say you have to "get in Arsena's faces", Fulham gave us the hardest game of them all by playing good football and teamwork.

Fulham could go all the way. What a story that would be.

Hodgson has even made Bobby Z look like a striker.

I would love to see Fulham win it. I hope the draw is kind to them.

As the Europa League campaign started didn't Skysports do some features on whether Fulham should put out weakened sides as their squad wouldn't be able to cope?

Zamora was great tonight. I'm not in the group who wants him at Arsenal, but I can see why people would want him. His part in the sending off was quality. So was his assist, free kick and goal.

Always thought Gera should be playing for a top 4 team.

He seems very similar to wenger in that he gives confidence to players in their ability

Not many players bring there arsenal form with them when sold so i wouldnt advise buying a fulham player

Hogdson has made Zamora beleive in himself more which most have been hard after years of him being told he couldnt score in a brothel

What a comeback!

I only saw the goal higlights on the news but Fulham was great today. Not only did they had to comeback from a 3-1 defeat from the 1st leg but they also had to comeback from being a goal down today.

Roy Hodgson is an English Wenger, lol.

That chip goal by Dempsey was SO cheeky! He had another wonder-strike against Stoke earlier this season.
