line up for tonight

How do you think Prof.Wenger will line up his team tonight??

im thinking of:

----------Almunia-----------

Eboue---Toure---Djourou---Sagna

Walcott--Diaby-Cesc-Song---Nasri

------------Adebayor----------

The game will be tough and Man U will try to rattle us straight from the start to get their prawn sandwich eating fans to make some noise.

It is important that we keep hold off the ball and dont be sloppy, Think the key will be to win the battle in the middle of the park and stop them getting the ball to rooney and ronaldo.

I fancy man u to start tevez and he will be told to chase down the arsenal defence

fancy this to be a draw....hopefully we can get an away goal!!

I would not want to see Diaby starting, he gives the ball away far too much for my liking. I'd rather Denilson along with Song playing in the deeper role.

My ideal line up would be..

----------------Almunia--------------------

-Sagna----Toure--------Silvestre----Gibbs--

-Walcott-----Song-----Denilson----Nasri----

-----------------Cesc----------------------

-----------------Ade/Bendter---------------

Or..

----------------Almunia--------------------

-Sagna----Toure--------Silvestre----Gibbs--

-Eboue-----Cesc----------Song--------Nasri-

-----------------Walcott-------------------

---------------Ade/Bendter-----------------

I'm hoping to see

Almunia
Sagna Toure Djourou Gibbs
Eboue Cesc Song Walcott
Nasri
Adebayor

Walcott and Eboue switching flanks.

I know its been said but how much better would we look with Arshavin starting tonight, a couple of signings next summer and keep our existing squad and we will be the dogs b*llocks

Hoping to see it too but I reckon Diaby is starting.

Just heard there's going to be late fitness tests for Gibbs/Silvestre.

Song, Diaby & Nasri are 1 booking away from missing return leg

Man Utd r struggling with defence and booked players aswell by the sounds of things

We have Neville out for certain and O'Shea may not be 100% fit either. Evra/Rooney one yellow from a ban.

I like Cesc high but not so high. He's not fast enough to support the striker, but Song isn't a fast partner for him.confused smiley

I prefer Cesc further back, i think he's a lot better, he dictates play and spreads the ball out more which also speeds up our attacks a bit more.

Diaby is definitely gonna start seeing as how he was at our pre-match press conference yesterday.

Hoping to see it too but I reckon Diaby is starting.

He was in the press conference with Wenger so I think he's starting too. Maybe

Almunia
Sagna Toure Djourou Gibbs
Walcott Cesc Song Diaby Nasri
Adebayor

Diaby and Cesc would have to support Ade because if we leave him isolated it'll be wava and wava of Utd pressure. If those two get on the ball and supply Theo and Nasri we could do well.

Going for 2-1 to us

I also suspect that AW is gonna leave Song our for today as he is one yellow away from messing teh 2nd leg and seeing as there is more emphasis on keeping a clean sheet at home.

So maybe this:

-----------------Almunia--------------------

Sagna-----Toure-----Djourou-----Gibbs

Theo-----Denilson-----Diaby-----Nasri

-----------------Cesc----------------------

----------------Adebayor---------------

or

-----------------Almunia--------------------

Sagna-----Toure-----Djourou-----Gibbs

Theo-----Nasri-----Denilson-----Diaby

-----------------Cesc----------------------

----------------Adebayor---------------

Gooner Geezer i agree with you. Fabs is definately more effective sitting a bit deeper.

Think Op Gunner is right

-----------------Almunia--------------------

Sagna-----Toure-----Djourou-----Gibbs/Silverstre

Theo-----Denilson-----Diaby-----Nasri

-----------------Cesc----------------------

----------------Adebayor---------------

I wouldn't be surprised if Cesc & Nasri change, but definately spot on

Fabregas may be more effective sitting deeper, but he could easily sit back and go forward at the same time, with the protection that Nasri and Song give you.

And the ACM role is not about pace.

I was right (apart from Diaby for Denilson)
