Nope, havent seen any since the very first ones.
Anyone seen Blade Runner 2?

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Yes I have seen Blade Runner 2.

Far too long and convoluted.

Great effects and Ryan Gosling is a good selection for the lead role. But it just goes on and on and on and on, some of the stuff near the end is completely unnecessary.

In fact the same could be said of the last Jedi. Sometimes less is more. The last Jedi is decent and an all round better film than The Force Awakens. If the Force Awakens is a cynical re-hash of 'Star Wars' as it is widely criticised as such, then the last Jedi borrows heavily from the mood and trajectory of 'The Empire Strikes Back' But theres so much action in it, such a mad panic to be an 'EPIC' that there are at least 4 scenes that in any other film would be the climactic one. Just like Blade Runner two in fact.

So really, both films end up highlighting the simplicity and therefore brilliance of Blade Runner and Empire.

I agree the original blade runner was the best of the two. The philosophical issues had more depth, plus the ending was far better

Bladerunner was a nice film to watch but it was completely boring overall. I don’t have much time for films in general to be honest, prefer a good TV Show.

Not likely to watch the Star Wars film.

I saw The Last Jedi on the 15th in IMAX 3D and I am still not sure of what to make of it.

People accused The Force Awakens of being too much of a rehash of the old films, well you can't say the about The Last Jedi, but not in a good.

Most fans of Star Wars are not happy with the direction the latest film has gone and I agree with them. It is like the director Rian Johnson saw The Force Awakens and said nah, F that, I am gonna do my own thing, so there a massive disconnect between the two films and also some disconnection with the originals too.

The film also suffers from some pacing issues and there scenes that were a bit pointless and one scene in particular was quite ridiculously bad. This film also feels very Marvel-esque with its humour, which really doesn't mesh well with Star Wars.

However the film overall is pretty good and there are a few great scenes in it (the space battle scenes in IMAX 3D were spectacular) and some story decisions can turn out to be very good decisions if executed well in the next episode.

At the moment I would give The Last Jedi 7.5/10.

(For reference I gave Force Awakens 9/10, Revenge of the Sith 9/10, Attack of the Clones 7.5/10, Phantom Menace 6.5/10 and all the films in the OT 10/10s.)

Watched Force Awakes on a flight over Xmas, thought it was pretty thin, there was a main woman character in it, couldn't work out who she was exactly, all the rest were old timers. Chewbacca clearly places it as a kids film, so not sure who they are aiming at.
