Good stuff CW, but I have to point out, if you didn't wuss around with EW and had been on for 50p win, it would have been over £700.(Sm14)

Still very nice though.(Sm152)

Wouldn't a 50p Win Lucky 31 still have been £15.50 ?

They should put a notice on betting slips CW, "Each-Way betting can damage your wealth".(Sm14)

Yes but BC my addage " you only bet what you can afford to lose" comes into play with me, and I wouldn't put £15.50 on the bet you describe; my protection is to at least try and get something back with the place saver bet. (Sm14)

Of course CW, I'm only having a bit of fun, we all bet the way that suits us best. My preferred solution to ensuring a return is to back two or three in the same race, not that much different to each-way betting really.
