Alfie posted that he would be holiday until 17th April and if he was unable to get to an internet connection then I would have a walkover to the Final. I posted that I didnt want to go through like that and that I would PM him my mobile and he could text me his selctions on the day and I would post them for him.

I thought I had PM my mobile number but cant find any record of it being sent on my PM records. So here is what will happen :
1) The first semi final between Foreverclaret and Soapy will take place this Saturday as scheduled.
2) The second semi final between Alfie and colinwaldron will also take place this Saturday if Alfie manages to post his selections; or my PM has got through and he texts me his selections.
3) If Alfie is unable to text me or post his selections then the second semi final between Alfie and colinwaldron will take place the following Saturday 21st April.

The semi final results are:

Foreverclaret +£15.00 v Soapy +£10.31

Alfie -£30.00 v colinwaldron -£3.62

colinwaldron fires home a 4/9 winner and 2/1 3rd placed to total -£3.62 which was enough to defeat Alfie who failed to get one of his each way punts into the frame and ended up -£30.00

FC gets his joker home late on to finish +£15.00 to defeat soapy who although also showing a profit of £10.31 was just not enough to beat foreverclaret

CW just a couple of queries Cappa Bleu was 16/1 with a Joker with double points does that not make it 32/1? if it does then my return would be £35-00 minus my two losing bets equals +£15-00.Soapy had £14.06 plus £6-25 equals £20-31 minus £10-00 leaves +£10-31 or am I getting it wrong?
