Brilliant fighting display from the Clarets, I felt really sorry for them at the end they worked their socks off, Heaton superb again, defence were awesome, and Barnes well he is one tough cookie. A great point boys.
A great point ,but should have been three..We are starting yo look like a side that aren't afraid of anybody again..Superb performance from our defence and Tom Heaton.. Hendrick had a good game, but why on earth did he put his hand on the guys shoulder,Moss the Cnut couldn't give the penalty quick enough ..
The strategy by Dyche was risky but faint heart never wins fair lady and we very nearly did it. The lads will be sick they didn't come away with 3 points and that is a very good feeling mentally for our squad to have imo. Of course all the praise in the press is about United but the real praise should be for 2 sides who went for it.Like old times, delighted for young clarets to see some of this.Barnes for me is worth his place scoring or not, Heaton or Pope in goal are different flavours but happy with both.No fear for coming games now.
Well done Burnley.
Just watched the highlights, wtf was Hendrick thinking, 3 points almost in the bag and he gives away a stupid pen. Heaton had a good game, thought his best save was from a deflected close range shot from Lukaku.
WTF do Sky have to show a moments silence before every game for the lad lost in the plane crash? I don’t buy into this one big football family guff, fair enough a minutes silence at all grounds but I don’t need to see it time after time on telly.
SD didn't use defensive subs after 2 up - had he done so... When he did use a sub I wanted Hendrick off and was surprised it was McNeil. Having said that how many managers could have put out a depleted side that would lead 2-0 after 80 minutes. He is simply a God astride Turf Moor. Long may we have him as manager. Bournemouth must feel the same way a out Eddie. Our board deserve plaudits as well.
