Time for some changes against West Ham?

My starting eleven as follows;

Heats (Purely on the basis lots are clamouring for this change so I will go along with it, nowt to loose)
Bards, Tarks, Gibbo, Long, Lowts
McNeil, Westie, JBG,
Vids, Barnes.

We really need to change things around no more time for sentiment.

Just to add, if fit Pope for Heats, Defour for Westie and Brady for McNeil

Agree with most of that FC.

Lowton is banned I think, so I would go:

Heaton (Pope if fit)

Bardsley Tarks Gibson Taylor

JBG Hendrick Westwood Brady

If you want to play 3-5-2

Heaton (Pope if fit)

Long Tarks Gibson
JBG Brady

Hendrick Westwood McNeil

Vydra Barnes

and make sure we play 3-5-2 not 5-3-2!

False hopes I'm afraid chaps... perm any 11 from 22 and the result will be the same, another defeat to an in form West Ham.
Only a couple of inspired signings, probably loans and stick em int team provides any hope.

Swimming against the tide comes to mind. Our attacking play is almost non existent, lump it and hope.

Just Gudmondsson if playing provides the one little glimmer of hope.

And Gudmondsson played... see I was right all along.
This was Heaton's day, inspiration al and bossy. Organising, cajoling, he made the first goal with his header ont edge of the box, the reception he got was phenomenal. He is the bedrock of the club. He cannot be allowed to leave in January.

This comment from the Guardian sums up Hart for me:

"any club in any league would be affected by his ability to attract panic."

Also note Heaton's comment in the post match interview about the gaps between midfield and defense - because he was constantly urging the back four to push up. That allowed the midfield and forwards to press higher. It allowed us to move the ball with short passes "through the units." The whole masterful performance started with Tom.

Anyone know of a team looking for a goalie with 75 caps to his name?

I was uncomfortable when the talk started linking us with Joe Hart and I have not felt any better until today. We now have a chance and Pope is integral no matter what.We are more than the sum of our parts. Barnes for me is on the team sheet, he is smart and a fecXing nightmare for the opposition. All the best to you all for the new year, I have to say 18 has not been the best of years imo.
