I'll be very surprised if Dyche takes it even mildly seriously.
My view is he will use the first tie as warm up friendly matches,
Probably starting with a different 11 each game.
If we happen to advance to the 3rd qualifying round,my guess is SD would then welcome a tie with one the big European names,where then it would be deemed an honourable defeat rather than embarrassing.

SD would then say..

"We will now concentrate on our 'bread & butter"

Thoughts anyone ?

They should never have allowed the European Cup defeated to drop into the Europa Cup competition, they should be two totally separate competitions.
Think Burnley should just play it by ear, staying in the EPL will be top priority anything else in Europe a bonus.

It's a good work out for the coming season..Our main priority is finishing in the top 17 next season.. Anything else is a bonus again..

The 2nd qualifying round draw has been put back a day to 20th June.
