Not really sure if I would class the majority as loyal, most joined clubs as youths, went on to play at the top level and earned a good crust. Probably more security than loyalty imo, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd aren’t short of a few bob so don’t need to sell their best players and if you have been at a club from a young age, are earning a good wage, playing in Europe and for your country there’s no real reason to go anywhere else.
Matt Le Tissier, what an ‘entertainer’, I’m surprised at him never moving on.

Agree with you Jilts.

Le Tissier is the only one who really had better prospects elsewhere. The others were already at "Big" clubs.
