Loved the bit when Woany comes out of the dugout after 30min of the first pre-season game when we are hammering Carlise. They look at each other, probably with eyes wide, and Dyche says "I think we are on to something here." Yes you were - promotion out of nowhere.

I still think that first promotion was Dyche's greatest achievement, so far, at the club.

I went to the Charlton game that season (won 3-0) and treated my brother to a hospitality package. We were given passes to go into the boardroom, changing room etc. which we had on a lanyard. At the end of the game, we had to give the lanyard back so they could use them for the next game as we couldn't afford to buy new ones! We've come a long way! Thank you Sir Sean.

Hospitality package = lunch before the game, tour of the ground including board room, dressing room with "legend" (in this case Andy Lochead) seats near the directors box in the Bob Lord, meet the Man of the Match after the game (Sam Vokes - my kids now have his autograph).

Lanyard = the thing that hangs around your neck that holds the pass to get into certain areas (board room, dressing room).

Worth doing Brian O'Neil, one way of meeting one's heroes of yesteryear, Casper, Dobson, Lochead etc. and getting a look behind the scenes at another side of the setup. I treated my dad to it - the last game he ever saw.

Matchday Hospitality

The one I bought was for the 1882 lounge - 200 - 250 pounds.
