Stoke, bookies favourite to win the Championship pumped 3-1 by Leeds.
Leeds looked good and there was a bit on the telly about them earlier today and there appears to be a new confidence around Elland Road. They have a large catchment area and I’ve been surprised someone hasn’t been able to turn their fortunes around, a few years ago Red Bull were said to be interested but nothing came of it, maybe this will be their season.

I was at Carrow Road the other week and witnessed a powderpuff penalty by Rhodes and a limp-wristed attempt of a save by Krul who pushed a shot from distance into his own net. Norwich 3 WBA 4.
Maybe Delia should get the painters in this month to touch up the home dressing room with some manly colours.

Still not 100% sure about the Burnley pen, I think it was, cute play by Wood.
I hear SD is seething about theirs, I haven’t seen the handball yet.

Three points is required from Fulham this week-end or our season is going to be a very long one.

Rumours abound that Abramovich might be wanting to flog Chelsea😮 seemingly he has turned down £2billion.

Watched the second half of the Wolves match in the boozer yesterday, handball at goal, Man C denied a pen, VAR would have changed the result and my coupons wouldn’t have been bust before 3 o’clock.

There are a number of countries wanting to hold a joint WC, how does it work?
Would Scotland, NI, Wales and England all automatically go through as host nations if the U.K. held the WC?

At least it’s not far for us to go home after the first round.

Dundee nil points out of 4 games, sitting bottom of the league, Dundee fans chanting yesterday to Neil McCann, “You’re getting sacked in the morning”.....Can’t see him going anytime soon, just signed his mate Kenny Miller, hopefully Millers experience can help the team ASAP.

Absolutely shambolic.

Public transport on a Sunday is woeful, Aberdeen train doesn’t get to Glasgow till after kickoffthumbs up noon kick off and a night game, the overstretched plod Scotland must be rubbing their hands at the overtime.

I remember football games were played on a Saturday at 3pm or a Wednesday 7:30pm, now it’s almost everyday of the week, glad I have Sky and BT sports, oh..........

While I’m at it, my old Virgin contract ran out and the bill shot up £30, phoned up and got the bill reduced to just under £120 a month, about a £20 reduction, the guy on the phone said the bills are going up again in November, but mine will now stay the same for a year. Nice to see see Raheem Sterling who is on £175,000 a WEEK is wanting a £100k a week pay rise.

Racism in football, just watched a video of an incident in which Raheem Sterling claims he was racially abused...maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t understand the big hoo-ha here, footballers and referees get abuse all the time, is adding an adjective truly a criminal offence. There appears to be a couple of black fans in the vicinity, if they were getting called black c**** for no reason other than their skin colour then that’s a different story, in the past I’ve called people fat bs, baldy bs, specky bs etc, it’s just letting off a little steam, it’s not because I have a hatred of bald, fat or spectacle wearers.
Just my thoughts.

This is worse imo than the Sterling racism incident.
Rumours up here that Griffiths was contemplating suicide a few days ago and it is well known he has a gambling problem so for some Belfast bookie to post that is rather sad.

It’s coming up for what would have been the exchairman’s 61st birthday and the fans were holding scarves and photos of the man aloft, I’m not trying to be disrespectful but it looked like some stage managed communist Chinese or North Korean leader rally, it just looked weird to me. Seems to be a lot of faux feelings being expressed at matches these days imo, these minute applauses during the game on the xth minute and the tv cameras panning around the ground and commentators saying what wonderful gestures they are seems to encourage more and more of these look at us ‘mock’ love ins.
Rant over.

“Danny Rose can’t wait to quit football”....seriously?
If work is that bad I’m sure he could retire quite comfortably at 28.
In the real world when I was 28 a job I was on we had missiles thrown at us from tower blocks which could have killed if they had hit, the gaffer was shot by an air gun pellet, the gadgies were threatening to kill us and there weren’t a hundred stewards or cops within miles of us, we couldnae afford to quit, we just had to get on with it to earn a crust.
Racism is a problem but there are many serious problems out on our streets which get over looked, perhaps the media should spend more time highlighting them along with the racism and abuse the ordinary plebs face on a daily basis and not just that of pampered footballers.

Bolton WON’T play their last game and Brentford will be given three points for a 1-0 instead, now.......say Brentford were fighting for a promotion place or to stave off relegation, say they were needing a bigger win for the purpose of goal difference, it wouldn’t be fair on them (or, indeed their nearest competitors) this ‘result’.
It’s all a bit of a farce, I wonder what punishment they will now receive.

Was going to change my prediction from 1-1 to 2-0 or 2-1, then thought naw, I’ll leave it be, and guess what, I win, I win the prediction league, and I would just like to thank my parents, the milkman, the cat next door, Barry Manilow, everyone at the BBC, and of course all the losers for making my win so special, thank you.

Meanwhile Cardiff are doon, faf the Cardiff player after the game being asked if he would like to see Warnock as manager next season, what did the interviewer think the answer would be, no? Imagine going on tv and saying you wanted your boss sacked, you’d be oot of a job by the morning. On saying that, that is Dundee relegated for sure todayno great surprise), at the end of game the dundee fans were singing (at the manager, “Yir getting sacked in the morning”, “10 in a row, you’ve got to go”, (ten straight defeats that is), “ Ya dirty Arab @#$%&” ( reference to the manager having been at United across the road). It’s not something you want to hear your own fans singing, I mean shouting at your manager, but it did make me laugh.
