Palace v Southampton on Sky 12:30pm, after hearing reports of Palace last week and with a new manager I think it will be 2-0.

Took Palace on the coupon as well, as well as......eye popping smiley

Going 3-1
Used to love watching Arsenal around 20years ago, great side, stunning going forward.
Still have a soft spot for them, but I think they are struggling in the new age mega money.

Would love Jay to grab a goal or two, but on their day, the Gooners going forward are very good. Back in the 1960's they had Joe Baker who played for England but sounded more Scottish than Bill Shankly! Scored a lot of goals wherever he went.

Also championship clash between Cardiff and Leeds, think I could be flicking back and forth.

Plumped for Moscow v Liverpool and haven't been disappointed, Liverpool looking good but went a goal behind from a free kick, not sure if the keeper could have done better (think he saw it late). A good equaliser from Liverpool and a great atmosphere in the ground. (Sm152)
Roll on the second half.

Another night of Euro fitba tonight, unfortunately the second half of the Liverpool game yesterday didn't live up to the first half, still a good game of football.(Sm152)

More Euro football tonight on BT, think I'll watch the CSKA v Man U game.

No coupon on tonight, yesterday both coupons gubbed, both had Oldham to be beaten, thought Ricky may have mentioned Oldhams first win of the season. (Sm102)

Interesting fact in commentary, ' the sports writers haven't picked a defender as player of the year since 1989'.

FT Arsenal 2-0 Brighton, Arsenal the better side but Brighton did have a few chances to score.

The Big one coming up next Everton v Burnley on Sky. I'm not sure what to make of Everton this season, Burnley doing better than I expected, but sorry lads, I'm going 2-0 Everton.

Watford 0-3 Man U at half time, thought about taking United on my coupon today but thought nah, Watford under Silva are doing alright could be a tight game , but nah, the Reds dominant, could be a cricket score by ft.
Put one coupon on today stretching over a few days, four games playing tonight, 3 out of 4 trailing ht.(Sm6)

It wasn’t that bad, St Mirren came back from a goal down to win 3-1, but Derby and QoS failed to win. It was a twenty five match coupon so I wasn’t holding my breath on a payout.

Give Watford their due, they pulled it back to 2-3 with about seven minutes to go, but a solo run by Lingard and shot made it 2-4,some good goals to boot.

Another 3 points for the Toffees, Swansea looked pretty decent first half. Two pens for Everton, first looked a bit soft and one looked to be outside the box, Rooney missing the first, but the rebound netted by Calvert-Lewin bang on half-time. Love him or loathe him, Big Sam doing the job he was brought in to do.

Well I got the score right, as per, didn't put any money on it.
Crap first half, second not much better, sh*t home support, had five pints after the match went home ‘drunk’ with a dose of the skitters and felt@#$%&all night. Oh the joys of a football fan.

Newcastle 0 Man City 1. Interesting Jamie Carragher at half time going on about Newcastle’s negative play and saying will this sort of football(lower clubs fighting to stay in the EPL playing not to win but to keep the score down) have an adverse effect on the viewing figures and the Premiership as a whole.
As I said before the big guns are getting too big and I believe they will be heading to a European or global league in the not too distant future.

Palace v Arsenal tonite.
Arsenal 1 point ahead of Burnley, so a win for Palace would maintain that gap, but Palace would then be 12points behind Burnley. Is it better for those above you to lose, with the hope of a European place? Or is it better for those above to win and keep those below well behind in case of a bad run by Burnley?
What ever I’m going for 0-2.

Looking at some of Man City’s results, beat Watford by 6, beat Palace and Stoke by 5 and Swansea by 4, a 1-0 defeat for Newcastle could be a lifeline for them if it comes down to goal difference in a relegation battle. We all want to see Open, exciting football, but the money at stake is immense. Can’t blame lower clubs for parking the bus, but Man U have also been criticised for defensive tactics, I suppose us watchers will just have to put up with some boring games or we could always take up knitting.

Watching the Spurs v Everton game on the box 1-0 ht. Just before the ht whistle the camera panned round to show hundreds of fans heading to the concourses, so I was wondering how many of you lads head for a cuppa or a pie or a pee at half time.
When I’m down south at a game I usually head to the ground for a few beers and a pie before the game and have another beer half time, mainly because of the novelty factor, (no alcohol served up here and no TVs with Sky Sports).
Toilet facilities have been improving up here through the years, I remember as a kid I’d just nip behind the stand and pee on the corrugated panels as buses passed by outside, I’d end up on the sex offenders list if I did that now. Rarely have a pie or Boveil up here either as it’s overpriced.

Oops back to the match, less than 2 minutes into the second half 2-0.

Just brilliant to watch, fantastic entertainment, 2 teams going at it with pure attacking football, 7 goal thriller, I wish I could watch that sort of game every week it would restore my faith. Also good to hear both managers praising each other instead of moaning about everything and everyone else. Well done to all, managers, players and fans. (Sm152)
