Ian Wright football pundit

Talking on Sky about the Sane penalty claim against Southampton that, quite rightly, wasn't given, Wrighty continued to insist that it was a pen. He was shown the slo mo that showed Forster tipping the ball away with his finger-tips, there was no evidence that he had even touched Sane, the ref was perfectly justified in turning the appeals down, but Wrighty wouldn't change his mind, he still insisted it was a penalty. When asked why, when it was obvious from all the replays that it wasn't, he said, "Well it just feels like a penalty".

FFS, why do they continue to pay good money to clowns like him to spout drivel ?

Don't like the guy myself, remember he had a cringeworthy prog on BBC on A Saturday a few years back. GREAT PLAYER TBH.
Why the BBC and other telly companies think they need to pay big wages for pundits is something unbelievable, probably a tax dodge.
