No Brown, Runciman or Hep Cahill for Widnes on Friday. Does Betts think he can get more out of the game on Monday against Saints than he does against the Wire???

Warriors beat the Saints on their own midden,it was always going to happen as Saints look pretty poor at the moment.. Wolves best The Vikings as well.

I said last week that in the Leeds/Saints game we were watching two very poor sides; you don't get me gloating when things are going well and you won't find me making excuses when things are going bad; both sides beaten in the first round of the Easter programe and performances no better than last week.

He's not the best in Superleague but he's a quality player

Not going well is St George Illawarra Dragons land. P6 W2 L4. Last two weeks we have played the Cowboys and the Boncos away. We haven't scored a point. Next week we play the third Qld team away, the Titans. At least we won't have to travel up there again.

The media here are going over the top about us not scoring but when you are playing the top two club sides in the world you should not be too disappointed.

Onwards and upwards

Tierney 7
Gildart 9
Charnley 10
Smith 10
Clubb 11
Powell 11
Mossop 10
Joel tomkins 5
Sutton 11
Tautai 11
Isa returning from injury

I make that almost a starting line up? (Sm14) sorry that sofa aint big enough

Mising ten first team players and having not trained all week due to a virus, the Warriors went down to an 11-try defeat.

The Warriors made three changes with debutants Joe Bretherton and Jack Wells along with Lewis Tierney replacing Sean O’Loughlin, Dom Manfredi and Liam Farrell.

It's Still not an excuse to lose by so many against a poor team.. Enjoy the moment,I would in similar circumstances ..

I'm off out to find a bigger settee to hide behind now Colin..lol ..(Sm42)

Totally poor with no sense of direction. Its going to be a long 6-7 weeks without Sandow if we carry on like this.

Too many errors in the game & we are playing like How KC described the Saints last night. uncoached under 16s side

Wigan losing 12-6 at half time. Wane sends Bateman to speak to the ref.

2nd Half Wigan get 6 penalties in a row, 2 Huddersfield players sin binned & a wigan try given when offside

Tony Smith has signed a new two-year deal to stay at the Warrington Wolves as head coach.

Smith has pledged his future to the club until the end of 2018.

The Australian has been with Warrington for seven years and he is the longest serving current head coach in Super League.

He joined the Warrington club back in 2009 and has gone on to lead the team to three Challenge Cup final victories, two Grand Final appearances and a League Leaders shield.

A very poor showing from The Saints who took a massive beating at the hands of Hull in the Challenge cup, Wigan had an easy win ..

Hull were without two of their top players who were released to play for their international sides..
