Looks like 3 from 4 now, and qpr have a tough run in

You've got to give credit to Kean, whether you like him or not. Two months ago he was a dead man walking, it was simply when, not if.

Did Venkys know what they were doing when they kept him on, or were they just too tight to sack him ?

The Venky lady made a comment early days that I took particular note of regarding business advice given to her by her father. Her views on Kean having met him in India would, if she followed her fathers advice regarding the type of people to back, meant she would back him.She noted his positive confidence and he has never wavered has he ?to boot he has had unusually strong backing within the respected football fraternity.

I don't have any feelings about Kean one way or the other, nor Venky's if I'm honest. Just thought together they were doing a fine job until recently.

Why is it ?
We are obviously not going to be promoted.
Would you rather have four local derby games next season against Bolton and Blackburn, or be playing QPR and Wolves instead ?

@#$%& have Swansea away plus Norwich and Wigan at home which on paper are winnable. The others are Spurs away and Chelsea away last game of the season.

Still looking good, although Bolton have a couple of games in hand. If they win one of them, Villa fans should be getting very concerned.

It could be a very enjoyable relegation zone at the end of this season. I think given the amount of animosity from the Rovers faithful towards Kean and Venky's that they are doomed. It would be just perfect to see Bolton relegated, possibly the final closure on the Coyle saga and it honestly couldn't happen to a more deserving chap.

God knows though, a few short weeks ago we all thought differently and look at the drop-zone now!

We are down

Blakburn are down with us looking at fixtures.

The 3rd team will be either Bolton / QPR / Villa

My hope is Villa come down with us

Rovers are down with Wolves, can't see it being Villa, it's between QPR and Bolton.

QPR have got to be favourites for the drop unfortunately.

I have Wigan getting 4 more points from their remaining games, QPR getting 4, Bolton getting 6 and Rovers getting 4.

Meaning the season finishes like this...

Wigan 38
QPR 35
---------
Bolton 35
Blackburn 32
Wolves whatever

Bolton relegated due to awful goal difference.

Fingers crossed.

I have them level, and Bolton going down on goal difference.

thumbs down

For Burnley fans, the best thing possible would be both bolton and rovers going down, recently i thought they had escaped, now it seems they could both escape. bolton have the games in hand and rovers picked up another three points today. I will be gutted if they stay safe.

Dunno, Wigan can probably afford to lose at Ewood, they play some shite last game of the season at home (Sm14).

If Wigan beat Wolves on the last day it means Rovers have to win at Chelsea or Spurs, AND beat Wigan.

Rovers are down.

Suspect Wigan will need to beat Blackburn, and vice versa, to stay up.

Going to be tight, very tight but I think one of them will go, and still possible for both!

Can't see Wigan needing to beat Blackburn. I think they'll beat Wolves and that would give them 37 which would be enough providing @#$%& lose at Spurs and Chelsea.
Can see QPR beating Stoke as well, they are good at home now and Stoke are terrible away.

Agreed Vinni except Wigan and Rovers have same goal difference so beating them is the best way for Wigan to ensure Rovers don't get the points they need. I think 37 will be enough but it could be on goal difference - plus would they really want to be relying on the last game of the season IF they can avoid it.
