Best shirt we have had in years.

Will look "hideous" on the fat barstewards among us....but for for people with "Bruce Lee" physiques like myself, it'll look very nice.

I will be ordering one.

Nothing wrong with that and as for price I but it from Sports Direct for 70% off every year! Just give a few weeks and watch!

England shirts are such a rip off BUT at least you can shop around for a price unlike club shirts.

Proper football shirt like they used to wear in the 50's. I like it.

Not sure why they've gone back in time though, is it to celebrate some achievement or simply a marketing ploy, something different to make them sell ?

That one you've put up there doesn't have that gash underneath the badge that they had on yesterday. Hope it's not a permanent fixture.

That one you've put up there looks awesome.

Red numbers on the back as well eh?

It seems that the thing underneath the badge is not a feature on every shirt.

I'll be getting one of the home shirts, just about pips the away shirt IMO.

My first day in Turkey is England's final group game of the World Cup. I'll be watching with new England shirt on, what a day that'll be.

Ale.

LC, you seen the away one?

Its alright!

The launch video for it is amazing. Umbro just turned up at a Kasabian Gig in Paris (I think, it was France anyway!). They gave the singer the new red shirt (before it had been seen). He popped it on and came out on stage wearing it to massive boo's!!! Then proceded to do the gig in it! There is a video on youtube I think, its CLASS.

I like both the home and away, if youre the sort that doesnt like outdated shirts though, id get the away one.

We bring out one every year, early in the year... Next year it will be the home one so youre only gonna get 8Months or so of it being 'in use'.

If youre the sort that aint bothered though then no problem!!! smiling smiley

Robbie Williams was on tv earlier (Sport Aid jobby) & was wearing an England zip up jacket with the 3 lions badge on, red white & blue elasticated cuffs & collar. Is that the new un? Looked quite retro.

I wonder who at Umbro got paid to think that up.

"I know, we'll launch the shirt in France with some random Irish indie band, that'll truly define it being an 'away' shirt, no links to England whatsoever".

Umbro headquarters is quite cool though, they've got the England shirts on what are basically giant 6' subbuteo figures in reception. Meeting rooms are named after the 66 squad, I was in Bobby when I was there.

Whatever happened to Bumblebee by the way.

Still living for that video!!!

If some frog star did that at the MEN we'd have an 'off'!!!

I like lots of the England stuff now and will have to make some purchases before they step away from the classic look.

I like both the tops, home and away, and the grey retro drill top the subs wear (always shows Becks in one!).

Best of all for me is the tight, white jacket they come out in. Annoyingly I can find this in the shops but the Umbro crest and the England badge are both in red/blue whereas I like the one the team some out in, the whole thing is pure white, including the stitching on the Umbro and Three Lions.

Having said that, packs wear crisp white jackets dont they???! sad smiley
