Ok so I'm new to this forum and I'm a current season ticket holder in the Don Revie stand with a few mates of mine, but I haven't been able to get to the games since the turn of the year because of family problems...

Was just wondering who has been performing and who hasn't we still struggling for a holding midfielder?

Also just wondering who do you lot think SG will sign in the summer?

You can scrub most of the above out as they will cost money. Every Leeds fan knows uncle Ken doesn't spend money so I guess it will be loan - loan - loan & more of the has beens/wanna be's just like every other year.

You must be a real new fan or very young indeed if you want Barmby!!! For those of us unlucky enough to see him first time around we have had our fill!!! A disinterested Paul Okan figure, if you can imagine anything as bad.

Barmby a "dream" signing? I remember cringeing when Tel signed him in 2002 and my reservations were proven right, he was awful for Leeds.

No thanks. Aside he is at his dream club, his boyhood team. Let him stay there.

austin simeon jackson both not proven at championship level it is better with more established championship players
like

john stead striker excellent hold up player for coventry
lee barnard big strong lad brilliant in the air not proven at championship but certain proven quality imo

but most of all we miss a central midfield player that can dominate games a classic example would be
wes hoolahan just a magnificent skillfull player @#$%& on championship

Well, where did you get that list of potential signings from???

It all depends on what division we're in of course. If we're in the CCC, well you can scrub off any Lg1 and Lg2 players off your list. Grayson will only be looking at Prem and CCC players IMO. He doesn't take risks.

If we're still in Lg1, well you'll have to add players to you list because there'll be an exodus of our squad!

Welcome LUFC2010 (I think).

However afraid your thread is a little pointless as we dont even know what division we will be in.

Even in the CCC Uncle Ken wont be throwing too much money around as it will effect his little "Hotel / Casino" baby.

If we are still stuck in the hole that is L1, then I'd be more worried about players leaving us than coming in (Beckford, Becchio, Snodgrass, Johnson), none of them will be with us if that happens.

If When we go up in the summer i would like to see us try and sign Jlloyd Samuel... Fallen down the pecking order at bolton because of Sam Rickets and Paul Robinson... Only 28 and would give us a good strong quick left back

By Barmby being a dream signing, i mean it as in i'm a big fan of his and like his leadership skills as he has been there and I reckon he would be more of a fringe player and would give players like Gradel and Snoddy etc... a few tricks to help them out

PAULUFC-1919 I guess your right about Bates not giving us money, but I thought if we get promoted we might be given a lil bit to strengthen, i'm not right up to date with off the pitch info. So could anyone just inform me as to why he isn't puttting money into the squad that would be great.

DC_Lufc - I just got this list from players we have been 'rumoured' to sign and players I reckon could be avilable if we get abit of money.

Ken Bates won't spend out because he's a crooked old cnut who is in it for 1 person- His love child Bairdy HIMSELF.

As for Barmby, if he came back there would be riots. He came here as a young(ish) England international when we needed fighters. He went on to be a lazy bar steward who wasn't worth £25 a week nevermind what silly money we were paying him.

I hope him and Hull sink (mild boat based humour ).

Don't think we'll be after Barnyard either, especially as he turned us down in Jan....
