Last chance
The Club must now take the last chance for the season and bring in two TOP players on loan, striker and play maker in midfield. I think that is the only chance to make the top two. Such players are only to find in the Premiership or maybe in the Championship. I any Championship have a midfielder we need then I would ship Beckford out on loan in stead for him if that Club needs a striker or else we must pay whatever is needed to get this players. This is make or brake time and if we donīt get up now I fear we will stay in this division for years to come.
So comon Bates and let Simon find this players now. Reply•Quote |

Any new players on loan must be prepared to play for love and a meat 'n potato pie. Leeds United don't pay wages.

Re: Last chance
imo the whole Beckford thing is the main reason for our prolonged blip. In saying that i do think it is unfair to single anyone out especially in a team sport, but
Jan the will he wont he leave had a massive influence in the squad's moral. His ratio of convert goals from chances has plummited big time in recent months. I think larry would best serve LUFC by giving JB a spot of time on the bench, Let one of the other strikers step up to the mark and prove his worth if they fail well at the very least beckford will have had a rest period and wouldn't need another one till summer. Quote:The fact he went maybe 8 games without a goal has definately contributed big time but to bring in more loan players when the ones we have had this season have not worked in my eyes would not be a good idea. I haven't a clue what Kandol looks like in training but him, Grella, Gradel could be gievn more of a role in our team than they have been given as of late. We need players that are hungry for it and the latter two in my eyes always look hungry when they get the chance to impress. Re: Last chance
bring in lee hendrie need a creative spark in midfield and someone who can actually contribute from set pieces im sick of seeing snoddys corners hit the first man.
and johnson blasting freekicks wide. imo lee hendrie is a better all round midfielder than howson and kilkenny put together. he would drive the team forward and would be the ideal partner for doyle in midfield imo. we have two very good wide players now but havnt got a central midfielder to bring them into the game at the moment. Quote: he is definatly not prem class hasnt got enough upstairs to compete at the highest level and dont think he would be all that in the championship but he is more than good enough for this division and his scoring record proves this. but after his goal yesterday i think it will be a big weight lifted off his shoulders and he will kick on and score another 6+ goals from now until the end of the season.
