As I have said in other posts, the Guardian is aware there are more newsworthy stories out there other than LUFC.

Why Conn keeps going on about us is anyone's guess.

He's sell more papers if he had the balls to print something more sensational (but factual) about a Prem club.

Still little LUFC are always good to sling some dirt at.

I think there has always been a media agenda against us.

My dad says it started in the sixties when we were promoted to division one and started to be a force to be reckoned with.

The london produced papers resented the northern 'cart-horses' beating the london teams.

When we were promoted they expected us to struggle...didn't quite turn out as they were hoping.

Thackleywhite, i appreciate you saying its not personal to me and i appreciate your honesty but i'd like to put you straight on a few things.....


Before our cup game against you, lots of our fans had second teams in the prem, this was born out of my team spending nearly 20 years in the bottom 2 divisions and our fans never daring to dream we would ever get back in the top 2 divs, we were watching utter rubbish football and although fans like myself went home and away in our dark days lots of the youngsters wanted to support glamour teams on match of the day like liverpool, manure and believe it or not leeds were very popular we lost two generations of youngsters who didn't want to watch us that much on a cold tuesday night against bury or exeter


When we beat the mighty leeds utd in the cup we were in the 3rd div and you were top of the prem with 100 million quids worth of talent on show, we kicked you and brought you down to our level thats how we beat you simple as that, your lads weren't expecting a rough game, i almost orgasmed when the final whistle went!! the stewards in their stupidity opened the gates and let the fans on the pitch celebrate our glorious victory, it wasn't a "pitch invasion" like the 70's (my wife and son were in the leeds end as well) it was fans rejoicing a superb victory, the press (who wanted it to kick off) made a mountain out of a mole hill just because of who the teams were......fact, 4 fans arrested at our game, 37 arrested at villa manure the same weekend and very little reported on that for some reason.


Leeds didn't hate cardiff till that day as we were never rivals, cardiff didn't hate leeds fans till we played you in the league a few years later and saw how much you really hated us outside the ground after that game! i wish it wasn't like it is but what can you do.

stan good comms m8 if it goes @#$%& up for us this yr i'm sticking to catching bass...simple as m8 and just how serious is this threat of admin anyhow?

I admire Cardiff fans for prtesting against the Ridsdale regime and not just accepting this cr*p. I wish them well with those demonstrations and hope they ultimately have a positive effect.

Shows that Cardiff fans are not gullible, unlike some of our fans who just accept sh*te and are grateful.

What will they actually achieve though? Apart from venting anger and highlighting their plight?

Will it make a new buyer desire them more? (Read Duncan Revie's comments on why he did not buy LUFC)

Will it stave off admin?

Will it make the players want to try harder for the shirt?

Unfortunately the effect is likely to be negative which is the opposite of what the fans really want.

If PR resigned tomorrow, will the mess be any better?

I don't know mate, but it is not beneficial to anyone to just sit back and accept the sh*te. Clearly things have gone awry there and the fans want answers. This will at least pass on a message to the Cardiff owners.

Our Fund Manager has recently commented that he is slowly winning over the locals at LS11. Maybe a riot in the car park at Elland Road will show Bates that he is probably the most loathed man ever to be associated with Leeds United (not encouraging such action by the way!!) Far from winning us over there is growing concerns about his foul tactics. Does he care? Does he f**k, but at least there will be pleasure seeing him try to sign that on eoff in his programme notes.

If people didn't protest then things would never change. And change isn't always a bad thing even if it doesn't always carry guarantees.

Going back in time, were you aware that one LUFC director got a % of every transer fee received? (Not PR)

Am sure you knew PR paid himself handsomely to be our chairman as did McKenzie.

Not saying 2 wrongs should make a right but at least with KB you will be aware that his many "enemies" keep an eye on him.

Others have had the opportunity to make big bucks from LUFC whilst professing their love for the club.

How will the manure fans feel when they see the Glazer companies drawing £30million in management fees from the club?

Do the Pompey fans think Storrie is worth his £1million per year salary + the golden handshake he will receive when he goes?

Do the Cardiff fans no PR pays himself similar and if he goes he will also get a golden handshake of the same magnitude?

Will the Luton Town fans ever discover how much money went outside the club for the benefit of the few?

Will the Notts County fans ever learn the reality of Munto Finance?

The football world, as you know, is full of seedy individuals out to line their pockets.

All that is relevant and of course Football has been seedy for some time. Doesn't mean it should last forever. Doesn't mean we should lie back and take it and nor should Cardiff fans.

I have always maintained that I couldn't give a flying f**k if the owners of Leeds are making a princely sum as long as the team performs on the pitch. In my opinion we are not, and second place in L1 will not change my view.

Bates' "management" of Leeds has taken us to our lowest ever league placing and it is not a gimme that we will be going up this season either. My view of Bates is based on his contribution and not going to be appeased by the fact that Ridsdale, that mad Professor, Fotherby, Silver and other smay have extracted money out of the club illicitly.

Football has to change. Protest and make it change.

The last time we played in Cardiff I recall the Cardiff fans chanting "there's only one Peter Ridsdale" Thank @#$%& there is only one P ridsdale, and I am truly delighted that he ended up in cardiff. Stan you know my thoughts on anything that isn't Leeds and like greg I hope he has a painful fo 0king death the man is a leech a parasite.

I feel for You and Pat the only two Cardiff fans I have any respect for after some of the vile I have heard from the rest of them and a few p8ss bottles been thrown in my direction. I have to differ aswell on the Leeds Cardiff thing maybe not rivals but the England v Wales thing will always be a issue when we have ever played each other.

I know I can't throw stones either after some of the vile that as come out of our own supporters mouths as well But shall we say that's football.

The best outcome for me will be Ridsdale gets some kind of jail sentence and gets rogered every night in his cell
