Ok so on the plus side he's a very very good keeper, already well bred in the PL and has proven himself time and again.

One day we'll break a tradition which goes back nearly 50 years and a direct transfer will take place between Old Trafford and Anfield. But I cannot see it happening with Dalglish in charge down there....

A strange time awaits indeed. Cos only SAF could get get a limited squad such as this to anywhere near what has been done in this past. Consider: Ronaldo goes. Tevez goes. £80 million comes in most of which goes...wherever. Yet we still keep doing it.But...for how much longer?
Another debate for another thread, but the SAF situation is a weird one indeed. Who knows wtf will happen post-Fergie era.
