Recreation in the spring
18 March, 2018 18:48
Given that we often talk of beginning Summer football in March yesterday's bitter cold/sunshine preventing easy views in the second half/winter showers swirling in as the tent got buffeted regularly, then maybe Spring is unpredictable in Scotland, As to the game it was a deserved draw and had Conroy scored I think we might have kept control. Was not surprised at our regular defensive errors and but for Brownlie in late period we might have gone behind again as Muir looked indecisive. It was a great second goal and worth the money just for the move itself. Did feel some changes were due as the end period was a bit dodgy. Hastie had a good 25 minutes but looked less of a threat in second half. Carrick and Duffy were good but needed a bit more service as the game went on as our central mid players largely vanished. Crude foul on O'Neill and the absence of a yellow(Red?) for Parry at the penalty has largely been forgotten.
