They are a disgrace a tenner to kirkcaldy each. It should be a fiver or £6 at the most.

£20 to Ross County FFS

Take a motor or get a lift then.
Going on the bus isn't mandatory.

Not a bus goer, but £20 to Dingwall is pretty good going.

Oh just to explain then.

£20 to Dingwall was because the bus was £500 , there were 20 on it. You try and do the math.

I have always been £15 to Dingwall, this is the only time it will ever be that price hopefully

I WAS RUNNING A BUS TO MORTON. I HAD 6 NAMES FOR IT. BUS WAS £260. I still have £120 left from Raith, so Morton would have been over £20 per head .

Anyone please feel free to go the bother of running a bus, take all the grief, text everyone for no response, accept people booking and not showing, arrange a pub for us to go to, clean the bus, because I just wont bother anymore.

Only bus I intend doing is QOTS, with £120 of a start for the overall cost.

Thanks for all your support !!

There goes another bit of the jigsaw.

Has anyone still got the lid? What was it we were trying to do?

Its market forces old boy if 50 bodies showed up it would be a tenner, if theres half that......do the math stupido(Sm102)

Havent disgraced myself on a bus for a while but have ran plenty in the past. Hard feckin work for no thanks & plenty of grief. If it wasnt for old thunderbird, there wouldnt be one at all...show some respect ya meansie tadger.

PS A score bevvyin & banterin on the bus with likeminded idiots to Dingwall is money far better spent than the £15 to watch the dross at the game itself. That £15 is far better spent (Sm64) & annoying the locals (and if truth be told the other idiots on the bus(Sm100))in a boisterous but friendly mannerthumbs down

Well I thought a tenner was ok for kircaldy and I have a bus pass which entitles me to free travel,However for me to use that pass it would take me approx 12 hours to catch connections etc,so £10 and a bus that picks me up at a pub takes me to game and lands me back in the pub in less than 5 hours is a bargain. Bus even has a toilet and sometimes even a stop for a ciggie.

I'm going to make a huge assumption here.

U18 on bus = half price fair
U18 + (Sm64) = wants cake and eat it!

Anyone that has ran a bus (especially for Airdrie fans (Sm8) ) Will know it is no easy task.

Getting messed about with folk saying they are going and not showing up. Moaning because the bus doesn't leave from, when and go to where they want to. Your stuck in the middle trying to keep drivers, bus companies, fans & the occasional pig all happy. Its no easy task far absolutely no thanks.

I'm sure Gary would love the bus full every week so he can charge as little as possible but when things aren't going well what do you expect him to do? Pay out his own pocket so you can travel? (Sm16)

Just out of interest, who do you think should be covering the difference between your recommended charge and what a bus would actually cost???

This one crops up every now and again, I think everyone who has ever ran a bus in the time I've been going - myself included - has been accused of overcharging at one time or another.

None of us run the buses, at no profit to ourselves despite some wild accusations, for pats on the back, but folk simply not appreciating that you simply cannot charge each bus as a separate entity does get abit grating.

The attitude that a bus to Kirkcaldy which costs, say,£300 should cost £6 a head because there's 50 on it is, at best niave, at worst, utterly stupid. As others have pointed out, it totally fails to account for the midweek trips to Dingwall when there's 20 on a bus costing £600 as all the big game hunters who filled the bus to Kirkcaldy have all disappeared until the next decent cup draw.

Listen I support another team thats not bottom of the 1st Division.

I go to every game of my team and a bus to aberdeen s £13 so £10 to kirkcaldy is daylight robbery.

Is gary betting away the bus money £100 on airdrie to win every week FFS no wonder its so dear.

Im skint
