I don't know if anyone takes note of Tim Nash but he says that Wolves have agreed to sign Olegsandr Zinchenko from Man City. He also says that Nuno is looking for another midfielder to partner Neves with Saiss dropping into the back three.
Fee for Zinchenko £12m rising to £16m with add-ons.

Looks like a decent enough transfer to me.
Anyways...in Nuno we trust....that is why I have been silence regarding Jimenez.

Regarding Zinchenko,an up and coming young lad that will benefit from a less deadly environment at Wolves compared to Mansour City.
Young and hungry but on another level than during the MM years.

Got a good number of games for City so he will be no slouch.

Patricio and Jimenez already signed. Possible Zinchenko and Neves in central midfield, with Saiss dropping back into back three. Alves signed from Liverpool and more signings on the way.

He has decided to stay and fight for his place at City. I think this is a shame for us as he would have very adequately replaced Douglas, and also a shame for him as he could have been part of something big from the beginning. It will be interesting to see how things pan out for him at City, and whether Wolves continue to show an interest in him later in the season.

The lad didn´t want to come to Wolves.
His decision to make.
Mine is to tell him goodbye.
I want players that wants to play for Wolves.
Zinchenko doesn´t..that´s it as far as I´m concerned.

If his heart is not in it we don't want him. His loss he will very likely be very happy sitting in the stands every week picking up 50-60 grand a week or whatever he's on.sadly this is today's mindset of a lot of footballers.we move on.

My only issue with this is that Zinchenko gave Wolves a strong reason to believe that we was going to come to the club. Apparently, he was expected to attend a medical and complete the formalities on Thursday morning. But just did not turn up. No communication.

So whilst you could say we should have had a Plan B, I think Z left us somewhat in the lurch having giver an indication he was going to sign.

I think we have missed out on Joe Bryan who is not going to wait around for Wolves with Fulham as an option. And any other option was just too late by that time,

Hence, playing a 343 where Wingbacks are critical and no marquee signing in this area is clearly not where they want to be.

Even if they were looking at a new Wingback they could have kept Douglas. His exit simply makes no sense.

Is this a sign of where there might be a weakness in leadership? We are about to find out very quickly.

There is something fishy with Douglas departure,I think.

It came out of the blue, and looking at out transfer strategy it makes no sense at all.

We all know the rumours surrounding it..true or false..but at this point they seem likely.

"Rumours"" by Fleetwood Mac..."Dreams"..those were the days my friends.
