Local Derby

Albion, Stoke, now Villa. Just a few of the teams who will not be privileged to visit Wolves in the league next season.
Leaving us with what, for a local derby? The only other Midlands club is Leicester so I suppose it has to be them.
I seem to recall that the last time we were both in the prem it did not end well. Thankfully we are in nicer territory now, even if the bus rides are a bit longer.

Shame the Shrews couldn’t have managed to increase the championship midland derby’s yesterday.

It’s a sad state of affairs to see we’re the only real midland side in the top flight, sorry to east midland readers! According to Tim Spiers it’s the first time we’ve been in the top division on our own without our local friends and foes. Poor but glad we’re there!!
