if our u-23s cannot beat Leamington then they are not really good enough for the Championship let alone the Premiership - what was the ave age of the team?

Probably late 20s , we had people in their 30s playing in the mickey mouse johnson paints when it was apparently an under 23 side.

Looked like a kids team, most of the under 23's were in action 2 days earlier. Ironic it's called the senior cup.

so to summarise it was a kids team in a senior cup where most under 23s aren't under 23...I wish they'd scrap these silly competitions.

You say a silly comp Angry, yet it is one of the oldest cup comps still going. The first one was played back in 1876/77 and was organised by the Birmingham County FA for clubs in the West Midlands who are registered in the BCFA. The West Midlands' big clubs, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Burton Albion, Coventry City, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers used to play there first teams in this competition but changed later on to use reserve/youth teams in order to give non league sides a better chance in the cup.

The senior doesn't really refer to an age thing, more to the level of the teams participating.

The egyptians used to worship a God dragging the sun across the sky in a horse and chariot which was thousands of years ago.. age doesn't validate anything or enhance it's credibility
